The Villa is set within an estate of 200 olive trees.
The terrace to the rear of the main building allows clients to enjoy the Villa's spectacular view across the Val di Chiana, where breakfast (included) and lunch are served daily.
The property includes a spacious living area, 9 double bedrooms, an outside gazebo with fireplace, landscaped gardens, large pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, mountain bikes and yoga / pilates gazebo.
The individually styled guest rooms of the Villa range from the Junior suite in a separate cottage next to the main villa, to Superior, deluxe and double rooms in the main house. The rooms are named after precious materials and these colours are reflected in the styling of the bedrooms, each offering air conditioning and modern en-suite bathrooms with Molton Brown bathing products.
With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, your hosts are perfectly equipped to create your custom-made vacation.
Synonymous for our “informal luxury” service, we offer our accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis with a daily maid service whilst twice a week we organize a private 3 course dinner party for our guests, an event that has become synonymous with life here at Villa Fontelunga.
From your complementary drink on arrival to planning you daily touring itinerary at Fontelunga our aim is to Taylor make that perfect Tuscan holiday home away from home experience.
Our pool is nestled in our 200 tree olive grove surrounded by aromatic Mediterranean herbs and lavender. The garden gazebo offers an outside area in which to soak up the sun at the end of the day or, during the cooler months, light a fire and relax with a book.
For our more energetic clients, the tennis court is tucked away in the olive grove..
Emporio di Ines offers authentic Tuscan cuisine from its deli and restaurant with a unique “Cicchetti” menu. Using produce from our market garden and km zero local niche suppliers, eat in or takeaway in this unique lounge bar setting onsite at Borgo 69.
Our Val di Chiana location, apart from its great connections to the rest of central Italy, was on the battlefront, during the renaissance, between the warring realms of Siena and Florence.
This created the necessity for hill top defences and consequently the many hill top towns, three of the most beautiful within 15 mins drive from us, with their local shops, typical restaurants and works of art.
Over the years it has been a privilege to host and provide the setting for many private events, parties and Weddings.
For those who would like to get married "Under the Tuscan Sun", or a family birthday surrounded by olive trees, where could be more chic than Fontelunga!
